Pasta is one of the favorite foods and most of our little kids love to have them. So instead of making pasta made using with refined flour, use whole wheat pasta. Including whole grains in your diet is very essential because it will allow us to intake some dietary fiber for better digestion.  Now-a-days we can find many healthy alternatives in the market which were made with millets too. If available, try to use them instead of regular pasta.  The recipe that I made here contains Whole wheat Pasta recipe including Pasta sauce(Red sauce) recipe.  Pearl Millet is highly nutritious and is highly recommended for people with different age groups. It can be also given for infants as weaning food and is also good for lactating mothers as well.  It contains good amount of iron and zinc and soaking, fermentation helps to increase its absorption capacity of the body. I used Sprouted Pearl millets to prepare idlis because sprouting will double the health benefits. So try to use Sprouted grains in cooking recipes whenever you can.
